Maryland -Tuesday, November 3rd, the Maryland Democratic Party released the following statement as votes are being counted in Pennsylvania and XXX for Joe Biden.
“The massive, historic turnout we saw across Maryland and the nation today was a victory for our democracy. This unprecedented turnout will take time to fully account for, and while we await the results with bated breath, there is nothing more sacrosanct than the integrity of our elections and ensuring every voice is heard. We’re one step closer to restoring the soul of America. We hope to see continued positive results as returns from states come in, and look forward to every vote being counted.”
The AP has projected victories for Maryland Representatives A. Dutch Ruppersberger (MD-2), John Sarbanes (MD-3), Anthony Brown (MD-4), Steny Hoyer (MD-5), David Trone (MD-6), Kweisi Mfume (MD-7), and Jamie Raskin (MD-8). Victories have also been projected for Baltimore City candidates Mayor-elect Brandon Scott, City Council President Nick Mosby, City Comptroller Bill Henry, and Baltimore City Council Members Zeke Cohen (District 1), Danielle McCray (District 2), Ryan Dorsey (District 3), Mark Conway (District 4), Isaac Schleifer (District 5), Sharon Middleton (District 6), James Torrence (District 7), Kristerfer Burnett (District 8), John Bullock (District 9), Phylicia Porter (District 10), Eric Costello (District 11), Robert Stokes (District 12), Antonio Glover (District 13), and Odette Ramos (District 14). With our fantastic delegation in Washington and Mayor-elect Scott in Baltimore, there’s no limit to what we can accomplish together. It’s time to restore the soul of our nation. The races have not been called in xxx, but we’re confident in strong showings; we look forward to every vote being counted, and to see the final results.
