Annapolis, Md. –  When asked if he had any concerns about Trumpcare in March, Governor Larry Hogan said, âI’m not going to get into the details.â
With the passage of Trumpcare today in the U.S. House, Hogan’s answer is no longer sufficient.
âNow that Trumpcare is one step closer to becoming law, it is time for Governor Hogan to take a stand on his partyâs health care repeal,â said Maryland Democratic Party spokesperson Bryan Lesswing. âDucking and dodging Trump might be Hoganâs political strategy, but itâs unconscionable not to stand up for the hundreds of thousands of Marylanders whose health care and benefits are on the line.â
Other Republican governors are speaking out. Earlier today, GOP Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker said that Trumpcare would lead to âa massive loss of critical fundsâ for his own state.
These are just a few specifics on Trumpcare that Marylanders deserve an answer from Governor Hogan.
