MDP Statement on Hillary Clinton’s Economic Policy Speech
Annapolis, Md. – Maryland Democratic Party executive director Chuck Conner today released the following statement in response to Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s economic policy speech in Warren, Michigan:
“Hillary Clinton’s plans to create jobs and grow our economy stand in stark contrast to Trump’s policies that will cripple our economy and cost millions of jobs. We’ve made remarkable progress under democratic leadership in the White House. That’s why we need to fight for Hillary over the next 89 days to make sure our next president is a Democrat. From investing in job creation to providing college debt relief and reining in Wall Street excess, Clinton’s vision for a more prosperous economy is one that works for everyone, not just those at the top. The choice is clear in this election. For Maryland and our nation, Hillary Clinton is the leader we need to help bring more Americans into the middle class.”
