Annapolis, MD — Tomorrow, June 30 at Camden Yards at 6:00PM, Vice President Joe Biden will keynote the Maryland Democratic Party’s post-primary unity celebration. Former NAACP President and Democratic nominee for governor Ben Jealous, Senator Ben Cardin, Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh, and DNC Chair Tom Perez will also deliver remarks.
The Baltimore unity celebration is the Democrats’ first fundraising event for the general election, and one of several unity parties hosted by Maryland Democrats in Anne Arundel County, Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, Howard County, Western Maryland, Southern Maryland and the Eastern Shore.
