Annapolis, MD — Today, the Maryland Democratic Party announced that it raised $1.5 million in its state and federal campaign accounts in 2017—the most the Party has raised in an off-year since 2001—with $780,000 cash on hand.
“The Maryland Democratic Party’s record-breaking fundraising demonstrates the grassroots energy across our state for Democratic values and candidates,” said Maryland Democratic Party Chair Kathleen Matthews. “Between now and election day, we will remind every voter that Governor Hogan has failed repeatedly to stand with Maryland families against the destructive Trump agenda, and he has failed to move our state forward.”
The party is filing its state report this afternoon, and will file its federal report by the filing deadline of January 31, 2018.
