• $1.6+ MILLION IN 1 MONTH – HOGAN IS BANKROLLED BY NATIONAL REPUBLICANS: New reporting is calling out Republican Larry Hogan for falsely stating he is “independent” in advertisements bankrolled by the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), an organization “solely devoted” to delivering Republicans the Senate majority they need to push forward an extreme agenda.
• MSNBC: Larry Hogan’s ‘Independent’ Pitch Comes with an Asterisk in Maryland (9/12/24): The NRSC has “jointly invest[ed] over $1.6 million in support of Hogan since early August. The Maryland Republican has also benefited from fundraising events with prominent conservative officials from his party, including Senate Minority Whip John Thune, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and former House Speaker Paul Ryan.”

• HOGAN TOUTED “GREAT VOICES” AND “GOOD FRIEND[S]” HE “ADMIRE[S]” IN THE GOP: Maryland Democrats released a new video on Friday highlighting Hogan praising his fellow anti-abortion rights Republicans including his “good friend[s]” Mitch McConnell, Ron DeSantis, and Brian Kemp, and “great guy” Paul Ryan.

• Hogan on Ron DeSantis: “The governor of Florida [Ron DeSantis,] we’re friends” and “he’s certainly one of the important voices for the party.”

These “incredible justices” will spend the next few weeks reminding Marylanders that Hogan could be the 51st seat Republicans need to take control of the Senate and push forward an extreme agenda.
