IN MARYLAND STATE LEGISLATURE
Annapolis, MD. — Maryland Democratic Party Executive Director Chuck Conner released the following statement on the retirement of State Sen. Lisa A. Gladden:
“For the past 18 years, Sen. Lisa A. Gladden has been a strong advocate for Marylanders in the 41st District. During her time in the state legislature, Sen. Gladden brought diverse communities together to improve the great city of Baltimore. Whether she was leading efforts to repeal the death penalty or supporting criminal justice reforms in the handling of youth offenders, Sen. Gladden stood on her ideals and served as an independent voice in regard to some of our state’s most pressing issues. I wish Sen. Gladden and her family all the best in her retirement.”
