Governor Hogan’s Refusal to Fund Schools, Safety Hurts Hardworking Marylanders

Maryland Democratic Party Executive Director Chuck Conner today issued the following statement in response to Governor Hogan’s refusal to fund public safety and education projects:
“Governor Hogan’s decision to withhold funding from our schools and public safety projects is another example of this administration’s unwillingness to prioritize the needs of families and seniors in Maryland. Despite bipartisan support for this year’s budget, we’re faced with uncertainty about the future of critical projects that communities across the state desperately need. The effects will be far-reaching and detrimental to Marylanders.”
