The mission of the Maryland Democratic Party (MDP) Veterans Diversity Leadership Council is to energize activists through the state, register voters, amplify the Democratic message, engage with members of the diverse Veteran communities, and supplement the coordinated campaign to turn out Democratic voters throughout Maryland. In non campaign cycles the Veterans Diversity Leadership Council is responsible for increasing inclusiveness, capacity building, voter education, and empowerment of Maryland’s diverse communities. By working to energize all Veteran communities throughout Maryland, we will truly be able to realize our greatest potential. The Maryland Democratic Party Veterans Diversity Leadership Council creates a foundation for activism that is both inclusive and sustainable.

Dr. Tiffany Daniel is an Army Veteran, Health and Wellness Coach, Bestselling Author, and Talk Show Hostess.

Tiffany has two loving sons and four grandsons. She holds a BS in Psychology, EdD in Christian Education, Certified Institute of Integrative Nutritionist and Alumni, Crisis Intervention Stress Management (CISM) Chaplain, Mental Health First Aider, and Peer Support Specialist.
Anthony Livingston currently serves as a Legislative and Political Organizer (LPO) for the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) and leads grassroots mobilization efforts for DoD and TSA locals. Anthony’s primary objectives are to substantially increase political and electoral recruitment, training, and mobilization among the membership. Anthony’s role has also expanded to the lead staff for the AFGE Veterans program. He is responsible for the ongoing recruitment, cultivation, and engagement of all federal sector military veterans to promote unionism.
Anthony is an 8-year enlisted soldier of the U.S. Army Reserves. He is airborne and holds the MOS of a Construction Equipment Repairer, while serving in a mechanized infantry unit. He received the National Defense Service Medal after being stationed in Kuwait during the Gulf War. Anthony took advantage of the GI Bill to help pay his way through college, earning an undergraduate degree in Political Science.
