ANNAPOLIS, MD – Today, Morning Consult released its latest poll showing Governor Wes Moore’s approval has risen to 61% and that he remains one of the most popular governors in the entire country. Maryland Democratic Party Chairman Steuart Pittman released the following statement after their release:
Governor Moore continues to deliver real results for Marylanders across the state, so it’s no surprise to see his approval rating is at 61%.Â
Marylanders know Governor Moore is laser-focused on creating opportunities for all Marylanders, no matter their zip code. That’s why Democrats, Independents, and even some Republicans are approving of what he’s accomplishing in Annapolis.
A 44% drop in homicides, the creation of nearly 100,000 jobs, and increases in reading and math scores in nearly grade level–all in the last three years. That’s a record Marylanders will get behind in November and we’re going to be standing alongside Governor Moore every step of the way.
