DNC chair candidate Tom Perez to Deliver Keynote at 18^th Annual Democratic Legislative Luncheon

Annapolis, Md. – The Maryland Democratic Party today announced DNC chair candidate Tom Perez will deliver the keynote address at the party’s annual Legislative Luncheon in Annapolis on January 10. The event will include remarks by Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller, Jr. and House Speaker Michael E. Busch.

Tom Perez has long been an advocate for Marylanders, passing progressive laws as a Montgomery County council member and advocating for progressive change both before and since his time as an elected official in our state,” said Maryland Democratic Party Chair D. Bruce Poole. “He is exactly the kind of change maker Democrats need at the helm of the DNC. As Chairman of Maryland Democratic Party, I am proud to have Tom as the keynote speaker next week as we discuss the future of our party.”

The luncheon is open to the media.
