We are looking for a dedicated Campaign Manager for a County Executive Race in
Maryland. The manager will lead all aspects of campaign, ensuring the candidate’s values
and the campaign’s strategic objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive campaign plan, with clear timelines,
budget management, and rigorous progress tracking
• Oversee daily campaign operations, coordinating volunteer and staff efforts,
managing communication flow, and acting as the primary liaison across teams
• Create press releases, manage press relationships and rapid response
communications
• Lead the field program, including recruiting, canvass scheduling and launches,
volunteer recruitment, engagement and retention
• Oversee data management and targeting, utilizing Votebuilder/VAN and other
campaign tools
• Maintain flexibility to handle emerging priorities and adapt in a fast-paced
environment
Qualifications:
✓ At least 1 campaign cycle of experience, ideally in local or legislative races for
Democratic candidates
✓ Experience with Votebuilder, NGP, and ActBlue, Excel and digital communications
tools
✓ Excellent Google Docs and Microsoft Excel skills
✓ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to problem-solve quickly
✓ Strong attention to detail
✓ Experience developing and implementing field plans, GOTV operations.
✓ Volunteer management experience
✓ Creative problem-solver with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends
✓ Dedication to Democratic values and core campaign objectives
Salary:
$4,000 – $5,500/month, salary commensurate with experience.
