Gov. Moore Releases Endorsements In Maryland’s Most Competitive Pick Up Opportunities
ANNAPOLIS, MD – Today, in his first major endorsement roll out of the 2026 election cycle, Governor Wes Moore endorsed candidates across the state running in the most competitive pick up opportunities for the Maryland Democrats.
“While the State Party does not get involved in any Democratic primaries, the fact that Governor Moore’s first major endorsement roll out this cycle is all red to blue candidates shows he is committed to winning flippable districts up and down the ballot and all across the State of Maryland,” said Steuart Pittman, Chair of the Maryland Democratic Party. “Together we will work to win big in competitive general elections all across the state and send a message in November that Maryland Democrats are sending leaders to Annapolis that will leave no one behind.”
For the first time in more than 50 years, Maryland Democrats are running candidates in every single state legislative race across the state–a testament to the fact that the Maryland Democratic Party is energized, growing, and building coalitions in every corner of the state. This fall the Maryland Democratic Party will aggressively organize across the state to elect Democrats up and down the ballot.
