Gov. Wes Moore’s Approval Is On The Rise
Maryland Democratic Party Chairman Says “Marylanders Love Wes Moore Because He Delivers Real Results For Real People”
ANNAPOLIS, MD – Today, Blended Public Affairs, in partnership with Perry Jacobson, released a poll showing Governor Wes Moore’s approval rating is on the rise to 56% and that right now he holds a 27% lead on MAGA Dan Cox in this year’s gubernatorial election.
“Marylanders love Wes Moore because he delivers real results for real people, and in November they’re going to send a message by sending him back to Annapolis for another four years,” said Maryland Democratic Party Chairman Steuart Pittman. “Since taking office Maryland has created 60,000 new businesses, homicides have fallen 44%, and nearly every single grade has made improvements in reading and math scores. This is a governor who has worked across the aisle to grow our economy, make our communities safer, and strengthen our public schools–all while working to drive down costs for Maryland’s working families.”
Since Governor Moore’s inauguration, Maryland has created over 60,000 new businesses, statewide homicides have dropped 44%, and four consecutive years of record funding for public schools have led to gains in reading and math scores in nearly every grade level across the state and a 58% reduction in teacher vacancies.
Marylanders know Governor Moore has delivered real results for real people all across the state. This November, under his leadership, Maryland Democrats will win big up and down the ballot to continue delivering results on the issues that matter most to Maryland’s working families.
