become a Trustee?
Trustees agree to make annual contributions to the Party starting at $10,000. While state and federal campaign laws dictate funding limits, Party staff officials are eager to work with individuals, companies, unions and PACs to ensure compliance with each year and each election cycle.

Trustees so
important?
The investments made by Trustees to the Maryland Democratic Party benefit every Democratic incumbent, candidate and activist. From the grassroots neighborhood leader programs, the latest in political technologies, to voter registration and targeted research and training, Trustee membership helps to ensure that Maryland Democrats and their Party are fully prepared to retain and acquire a strong, statewide Democratic presence.
Vital to the ongoing strength of the party is training. In 2008, the Party has laid the foundation for the formation of a training institute to perpetuate the skill sets and experiences essential to political competence and competitiveness statewide. Eventually, the Training Institute will produce a new generation of Party advocates, activists and candidates skilled in the ways of modern campaigning. The training will be made available in different communities around the state, year round.
